Integrated Security Suite

The Xandros Security Suite includes the Xandros Firewall, Anti-Virus, Xandros Networks Updates, and a rootkit checker (spyware). This centralized interface provides a high level view of your computer’s overall security vulnerability levels, as well as access to configure any of the four applications inside.

Xandros Storage Manager

This tool is for installing and configuration of hard disks. It allows you to reallocate space between partitions.

Xandros Photo Manager

Tool for importing photos from digital cameras (or the Web). Users can edit photos, and organize photos into albums.

Music Management

This suite of features includes the following elements

Music Application
This program allows you to organize music into playlists, and listen to music from CDs, MP3s and the Web. It can also sync music to iPods and other MP3 players.

iPod Compatibility
You can sync music between their Xandros Desktop and iPod

MP3 Encoding
Using the drag-and-drop capabilities of the Xandros File Manager, users can convert wav files (CD format) to MP3 by just dragging and dropping them onto their desktops.

NTFS Read and Write

While Xandros has always supported dual-booting on the same PC as Windows, until now you could only read from a Windows NTFS partition. Now, you can both read and write to their NTFS partition from Xandros.
