Xandros Offers "Do It Yourself" Switch to Linux with New Xandros Desktop Home Edition

LinuxWorldExpo SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Xandros, the leading provider of easy-to-use Linux alternatives to Windows desktop and server products, today announced that it will be offering a ‘Do It Yourself’ free install of the new Home Edition of its desktop operating system at the LinuxWorld ‘Installfest’ sponsored by Open Country, Inc., providers of the OCM(TM); Universal Systems Management Suite. Xandros experts will stand by in a purely advisory role as users see for themselves how easy it is to set up a dual-boot Xandros-Windows machine on their Windows laptops, or migrate entirely from Windows to Linux. The Installfest is taking place at Open Country booth #428 at the LinuxWorld Expo, held at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, August 15-17 2006.
