The world's biggest repository of free Linux software

The Debian Linux Project upon which Xandros is based is home to the world's largest repository of free Linux software. Now in its 10th year, Debian is a global community of more than 1,100 dedicated Free Software developers who have created more than 12,000 software programs or "packages".

Xandros developers take a snapshot of this vast repository at release time and post the packages on company servers. Users of Xandros Desktop OS can go to Xandros Networks to install these packages free of charge with a single click.

If you love having this incredible resource -- indeed, if you love Xandros Desktop OS -- we invite you to donate to the Debian project at www.debian.org/donations.
