Reduce Complexity in Mixed Environments

Xandros BridgeWays is a systems management platform that simplifies the complexity of managing mixed environments. It provides cross-platform management for many enterprise platforms, including Xandros, Red Hat, Solaris, Debian, Novell and Oracle Linux servers and desktops, through an integrated “single pane of glass” environment that is easy for any type of administrator to use.

BridgeWays integrates your disparate platforms into a cohesive Managed Community, where each server is aware of the others on the network and their configurations. Using workflow automation, the Managed Community notifies the administrator when a change to one server affects other servers and services running on the network.

Xandros BridgeWays enables administrators to manage these disparate platforms through the Xandros Management Console (xMC), an all-graphical management tool that runs on the administrator’s Windows or Linux desktop. With xMC administrators can also integrate the management of these platforms with Windows environment components such as Active Directory.

The BridgeWays systems management platform is comprised of three elements:
	Administration Management Edition Server and service-level configuration and systems management
	Deployment and Management Edition Operating system, applications and patch deployment and management
	Management Packs for Microsoft System Center Xandros BridgeWays Management Packs help extend the capabilities of the Microsoft System Center to heterogeneous environments with Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
