OEM/ISV Account Executive

Xandros, Inc the leading publisher of Easy-To-Use Linux alternatives to Windows is seeking a highly motivated OEM/ISV Account Executive and major accounts "deal maker" with a strong background in the software/hardware industry.

The ideal candidate will offer the following:

• Proven success in developing strategic, revenue based relationships with key hardware/software manufacturers in the consumer and corporate markets
• A proven ability to achieve annual revenue objectives exceeding $3M
• Played a key role in building a OEM/ISV sales and distribution framework
• An established and solid network of Tier 1, 2 and 3 hardware OEM's
• Strong account management skills, including negotiation of contracts
• Familiarity with software licensing and business models
• Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation and closing skills as well as the ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization
• Experienced working in a hybrid (direct and indirect) sales environment

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and close strategic OEM and ISV partner relationships that generate revenue, market visibility, and brand awareness
• Manage all aspects of the OEM/ISV relationship
• Work with Marketing to define programs to increase revenues
• Work with partners to promote and evangelize Xandros products
• Develop selling strategies tailored to specific accounts
• Participate in face-to-face sales presentations

This is a role for a seasoned and organized sales/business development professional who is experienced generating interest by painting the big picture value proposition/"SIZZLE" to major hardware/software players and the presentation, management and negotiation skills to close the deal.
