North American Marketing Manager

The successful candidate will play a key role executing our strategic and tactical marketing efforts and will bring the energy and commitment that is needed to turn an exciting young company into an established industry leader. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of strategies and programs targeted towards the consumer, education and enterprise markets. This role is outbound focused and will handle go-to-market strategies, messaging, on and off-line marketing programs, sales support and training materials.

This individual will be report directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead a wide variety of marketing operations, including e-commerce, direct marketing, market research, and promotional planning to increase brand awareness and market mind share.
  • Manage direct marketing activities – assist in planning and execution of direct (email) marketing operations, including development of creative content and analysis of result.
  • Develop competitive/differentiating sales tools including solution presentations and development/presentation of value propositions for the product and associated services.
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret market segment or industry dynamics, future market trends, geographical differences, and competitive market offerings and pricing to ensure differentiation and provide strategic input and direction for marketing efforts.
  • Define, create, and edit marketing materials including product collateral, white papers, Web content, brochures, educational materials, price list(s), pricing tools, press releases, advertisements, and other product-related literature; review draft marketing materials and technical publications for accuracy and messaging.
  • Develop, plan and execute outbound product marketing processes and strategies, PR, events, campaigns, product/service launches and other activities; build market awareness, sales force readiness and customer demand.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
  • 3+ years of product marketing management, brand management and/or marketing experience (software industry a plus).
